F03 numbers station
From Signal Identification Wiki
F03 is a family of digital FSKFrequency-Shift Keying modes that are used by the "Polish 11" numbers station operator. This operator is likely a Polish intelligence agency.
F03 has 4 known active sub-modes.
F03 is closely related to P03 which is used by the same operator. F03 and P03 are the successors of Polish Intelligence 100bd 625 Hz FSK, also known as F11.
Audio from F03 can be mistaken for RTTY and similar modes very easily.
Mode | Modulation | BaudBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second. Rate | Carrier Shift | Center freq | Period |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
F03f | FSKFrequency-Shift Keying | 400 bdBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second. | 800 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | +1200 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | 496 bits |
F03i | FSKFrequency-Shift Keying | 100 bdBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second. | 800 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | +1200 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | 488 bits |
F03j | 4-FSKFrequency-Shift Keying | 100 bdBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second. | 400 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | +1200 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). | 448 bits |

Samples[edit]
F03l is presented. Other modes - to be added.
Frequencies[edit]
Polish 11 is known to use frequencies between 4 and 21 MHzMegaHertz (MHz) 10^6 Hz and P03 transmissions happen in this range.
