How can you tell its faked? -WAW


You can only post signals that are actually legitimate or need to be added, (say for example a signal thats been discontinued and is in need of an audio sample or waterfall image), that in itself is ok. Also, let's say too theres a requested signal thats not yet been heard on the SDR, and there is no longer a use for it but needs a sample and image per se, those types of examples of "synthesis" is ok. However, the sample must EXACTLY match the description, modulation, mode, etc.....

Any fake signals are signals generated that have no use on the wiki. The UNID (and the ID) sections is supposed to be used for *actual* SDR recordings as well, including actual waterfall images captured during the time of the audio sample's capture. Hopefully this clears up a lot of confusion, as this page will now be deleted because of the following characteristics. -- >Yalek W (talk)
