This is an MFSKMultiple Frequency Shift-Keying signal that is believed to originate from Russian sources. Transmission changes between 21-tone MFSKMultiple Frequency Shift-Keying with 125 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). tone spacing and 13-tone MFSKMultiple Frequency Shift-Keying with 250 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). tone spacing, and different speeds. Sometimes only some of these modes may be used. The purpose of and the equipment used to transmit this signal are unknown.
