oh, THIS is RD-LAP? I see this all over where I am, and I placed a bunch of them in unknown signals. They're used by NYPD frequencies. I have a bunch of samples and IQQuadrature signals form the basis of complex RF signal modulation and demodulation, both in hardware and in software, as well as in complex signal analysis. files of them there, could you put them into this page? http://www.sigidwiki.com/wiki/Unknown_855p2 --Cartoonman (talk) 16:20, 19 January 2017 (NZDT)

Yes, but it is not only used by police departments... By other companies as well... As long as a transportation or financial or whatever company uses Datatac then you will mostly hear similar types... It causes quite a bit of confusion...But police departments use DDS sometimes as well... Ywsia1 (talk)

Ywsia 1: WOW!! this is a substantial improvement here!! Also I didnt know it was "procedure" instead of "protocol". I guess I missed out on the past few weeks....

Yea, I finally got time to address the mess of signals and put them all into this one. Did as much digging as I could. Info is very scarce on the internet. Also was able to definitively prove this as RD-LAP through analysis, so that puts the nail in the coffin for good. --Cartoonman (talk) 11:03, 17 September 2017 (NZST)
