If you need any p25 samples raw / decoded or other let me know , i live about 3/4 mile from are local law enforcement tower and can receive it at 100% with no antenna .
I also actively monitor the system 348 BEE00 in ohio http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=6643&opt=all_tg#tgs --Mbeam (talk) 20:03, 8 February 2017 (NZDT)

If your dept uses P25 Phase II, we'd love to get some more raw samples (IQQuadrature signals form the basis of complex RF signal modulation and demodulation, both in hardware and in software, as well as in complex signal analysis.) of this particular mode. I'm a quarter mile from the regional PD tower and that one runs Phase I very strongly. Haven't seen Phase II however, besides the sample Admin has contributed.

If there are enough samples and differences between Phase I and Phase II, I may split them and make Phase II it's own page. --Cartoonman (talk) 15:43, 9 February 2017 (NZDT)

currently only phase I in this area as well ,
The sample listed as Trunking Control Channel for Phase 2 looks and sounds like the old ohio marcs system which was
Motorola Type II SmartZone OmniLink w/withProject 25 , i'll try to decode the sample later and see what pops up

I beleive i might have some samples of the old Motorola Type II SmartZone OmniLink w/withProject 25 system before they took it down and replaced it with phase 1 p25

Old ohio marcs images iq af encoded and decoded in a zip file https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-Cy0hRpwjmweU5oejd0S0dZSWc

I'll look into this, are you suggesting the sample up there may not be the 'Phase II' that it's listed to be? I haven't done very deep research on this 'Phase II' of P25, so I'm not really sure what it really should be. It is written on the page that Phase II was shipped with Motorola handsets --Cartoonman (talk) 18:14, 9 February 2017 (NZDT)

Correct , I just downloaded and ran the sample listed as "P25 Phase 2 Trunking Control Channel" thru unitrunker and it came back with Motorola system id 2d16 listed here:

I've always been confused with these Motorola trunked radio modes, is http://www.sigidwiki.com/wiki/Motorola_Type_II 's signal correct? I have a feeling that there's multiple formats for Motorola Type II, or possible different speeds.

The P25 Phase 1 Samples on Control Channel and Encrypted Voice come from my local PD, Nassau County, so that's correct. --Cartoonman (talk) 03:23, 10 February 2017 (NZDT)

I've started a discussion page on the motorola type II with what I have decoded and info
--Mbeam (talk) 21:45, 10 February 2017 (NZDT)

There is also another format of P25 that is used by various government agencies that are also intertwined with a variant of RD-LAP's preamble. Will try to get those samples uploaded as well. --Ywsia (talk)

Until we know what exactly those preambles are, I'm removing those references from the main page. --Kj6psg (talk) 10:00, 8 April 2020 (NZST)
